The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle…
What can be more British than a royal wedding? This year, we have booked our seats for a spectacle of a wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Looking at pictures on Facebook, looks like summer arrived in London early this year to kick off all the pomp and circumstance. In its usual regal fashion, this British royal affair has captured the imagination of the global community, and the British Royal Family has even put up a nice website for this wedding.
Unlike his parents and brother who had their ceremonies conducted at Westminster Abbey, Prince Harry’s wedding will take place in St George’s Chapel of Windsor Castle. And more interestingly, the 2018 Royal Wedding falls on the same day as this year’s FA Cup final (I wonder who picked the date?)
The last royal wedding which garnered such celebrity must be the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton 2011. I was still studying in London in 2011, and have fond memories of the bubbly excitement throughout London, and not to forget, the plethora of memorabilia up for grabs in every nook and cranny of London.
Always not to be left behind the bandwagon, MINI impresses again this year with the release of the special edition Cooper S to commemorate the big day of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The interior of this Cooper S is filled with dedications to the newlyweds, however it is unlikely for the royal couple to drive this unique motor, which will be sold at the Children’s HIV Association auction, with all proceeds going to charity.
On that note, we would like to wish the incoming Duke and Duchess of Sussex a very happy marriage!
