‘Adulting’ – or learning the ways of a successful adult – brings a few challenges with it. All of these challenges, however, revolve around the singular concern of forming and following a daily schedule that actually works. For me, this includes clocking in my daily dose of sweat on top of the work schedule – and I do this all at once. I don’t go home until I’m done.
Often, this means having to bring everything I need, once I step out of the house at the start of the day. In a calculated bid to minimize the baggage, I’ve succumbed to the Athleisure trend that spells the practical choice for a girl-on-the-go. Athleisure is the union of style and function – an outfit could bring you through the office and to the gym. No excuses. Athleisure goes deeper than just being a fashion trend – it’s a lifestyle, and a promise to live life better; to be active, and to be the best version of yourself.
Last Saturday, we took Under Armour’s newly-launched Moda Run kicks out for a spin round the bay. Its sleek silhouette makes a striking first impression and immediately fits into my Athleisure wardrobe. The ModaRun kicks are the epitome of chic street style – sporty and minimal, perfect for urban rangers on the go round town.
Under Armour stays true to their brand philosophy of elevating the integration between performance technologies and style. When I changed into these ModaRun shoes, they appealed to me most for two reasons: the white mesh material (think: ultra breathability), and the lightweight jelly sole (think: easy, Yeezy).
