Singapore has always been full of surprises when it comes to top-notch events, and here’s one that you would not want to miss.
It was such a posh Friday on 3rd June rolling on the wheels with BMW to BMW Singapore Beach Polo Championhip 2016 media day. I have never watched Polo live before this. This event has interestingly brought the game onto the beach in a 70m x 40m field which was a real eye opener.
This adrenaline-pumped event was organised by Singapore Polo Club at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. BMW Group Asia was the title sponsor of this inaugural event which was also supported by Singapore Tourism Board.
3 teams competed for the coveted title. The Polo matches showcased 4 professional players, Ric Mc Carthy and Dick Doolin from Australia, Fransico Guinazu from Argentina and Kit Brookes from New Zealand, as well as the Singaporean players representing Singapore Polo Club.
